But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here. Acts 16:25-28 NKJV

LOOSED: Your chains of despair are loosed by the Lord - Acts 16:26
Quote: "The essence of the Christian life is not to escape life's troubles, but to gain strength from the Lord to break free and triumph over them by relying on His power through prayer and praise."
Praise & Prayer for deliverance in times of trouble
Dear Lord, I have come to understand that regardless of the difficulties You allow me to go through, You are always by my side and will never abandon me. Holy Spirit, I ask for your guidance in teaching me how to pray and worship like Paul and Silas did when they were imprisoned for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, please guide me to someone today who is contemplating self-harm. Through my testimony, help them experience the miracle of salvation by placing their trust in Jesus and confessing Him as their Lord and Savior. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.
