Q: How close do you feel to God?
Remember that in the past you were without Christ. You were not citizens of Israel, and you did not know about the agreements with the promises that God made to His people. You had no hope, and you did not know God. Yes, at one time you were far away from God, but now in Christ Jesus, you are brought near to Him. You are brought near to God through the blood sacrifice of Christ. Ephesians 2:12-13 ERV
FACT: "The only way possible to be near God is through the blood sacrifice of Christ." Verses about Blood
Praise & Prayer
Merciful Savior, as You already know, I spent too many years distant from God and living in darkness due to my sinfulness and thoughtless actions. I regret that I rarely took the time to be in Your presence, to hear Your voice, and to get to know You. I was lost without You and clueless about the depth of God's love for me. But now, I stand upon Your precious and powerful blood that atones for all of my sins and brings me near to God. Holy Spirit, please guide me to someone today who feels far away from God and is being tormented by guilt and shame. Lord Jesus, please allow them to experience the glorious power of Your blood as we pray and call upon Your mighty name. Hosanna and Amen.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
