KINGDOM: You will not taste death before seeing the Kingdom of God - Mark 9:1

And Jesus said to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste (experience) death before they see the Kingdom of God after it has come with power.” Six days later, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And He was transfigured before them and began to shine brightly with divine glory. Mark 9:1-2

Infallible Truth
  • "God rescued us from the dark power of Satan and brought us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, who forgives our sins and sets us free." Colossians 1:13-14
  • "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:3
  • “The time has come,” He said. “The Kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the Good News!” Mark 1:15
  • "Jesus answered him (Nicodemus), “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3
Praise & Prayer
I praise You, Lord Jesus, for opening my eyes and making me a new creation so I can see that the Kingdom of God has come before I taste death. Like Peter, James, and John, I thank You for taking me to the sacred mountain to see Your radiance and divine glory. I declare that You are the KING of kings, LORD of lords, Messiah, Son of God, and Savior of the world who has brought the Kingdom of God into existence. Please guide me, Holy Spirit, to someone today who is poor in spirit, whose heart is hungering for something more than what this world has to offer. Heavenly Father, allow them to see the glory of Your Beloved Son. Bring them into Your Kingdom as they believe and accept Your dear Son as their Lord. I worship and pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
