GOD'S WILL: Doing God's makes my life purposeful - Acts 21:13

When we heard this, we and the local believers all begged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem. But he [Paul] said, “Why all this weeping? You are breaking my heart! I am ready not only to be jailed at Jerusalem but even to die for the sake of the Lord Jesus.” When it was clear that we couldn’t persuade him, we gave up and said,      “The Lord’s will be done.” Acts 21:12-14 NLT

Lord, thank you for this moment
Even if affliction rules the day
I thank You for each breath I take
You said it would be this way

For You have promised eternal life
But only if we walk in Your Will
And the Will of God is the Word
In Him let our hearts be still

Close your eyes and meet with Him
Take one step through each loss
Following Him in faith and trust
Take one step back to the Cross

For the Will of God is Salvation
So leave your old life behind
Walking with His Divine direction
And the Path of Christ you will find

Prayer & Praise

Abba Father, just as Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, I too pray, "Not my will, but Your will be done." I believe Your will for my life far exceeds any ambitions or dreams I could have ever imagined. Holy Spirit, please help me to live for the honor of Christ Jesus and not be fearful or dissuaded from doing the Lord's will, even if it comes at a great cost. Strengthen me this day to be courageous and contagious to my family and local believers to do our Lord's will so they experience the fullness of God's love, joy, peace, and hope. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.
