If we died with Christ, we know that we will also live with Him. Christ was raised from death. And we know that he cannot die again. Death has no power over Him now. Yes, when Christ died, He died to defeat the power of sin one time—enough for all time. He now has a new life, and His new life is with God. In the same way, you should see yourselves as being dead to the power of sin and alive for God through Christ Jesus. Romans 6:8-11 ERV
Eternal Truth: "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved." Ephesians 2:4-5
Praise & Prayer
I am alive for God because of You, Lord Jesus. I praise You for sacrificing Yourself on the cross to atone for my sins and taking them with You to death. Thank You for rescuing me from the clutches of sin, which bound me in chains of despair and destructive behaviors. Holy Spirit, please teach me to live in the reality of my new life in Christ by being dead to the power of sin and alive for God. Remind me that my past sins and offensive behaviors no longer control me, nor define me. Help me see myself as God sees me in Christ, so I live a life that glorifies God. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, my Master and Savior.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
